Petr Yan is the UFC bantamweight champion. The record is 21–5–0: seven knockouts, one submission, and thirteen decisions.
He won the bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 323 on December 6, 2025, by unanimous decision. The one defense is the rematch at UFC 333 on October 24, 2026, again by decision. The interim win over Cory Sandhagen in 2021 is not a defense of this reign.
The first reign ended at UFC 259, when an illegal knee made the loss to Aljamain Sterling a disqualification. That result is a loss, so it is not filed as a disqualification win. The only submission is a guillotine of Kharon Orzumiev in 2015.
